Following a formal, prestigious invitation from the Macao Government’s Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM), contemporary fine artist Lee Kian Choong presented a landmark solo exhibition titled "Art.Life - Malaysian Contemporary Paintings Exhibition of Lee Kian Choong" at the iconic Taipa Houses–Museum. Running from January 9 to March 15, 2015, this state-commissioned, two-month public showcase served as a major cross-cultural event, widely celebrated by regional media and art circles for its innovative synthesis of Western watermedia transparency, classical Eastern aesthetics, and master-level photographic vision.

Lee Kian Choong’s international institutional standing was definitively solidified through a formal, diplomatic invitation extended on November 7, 2014, by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) of the Macao Government. Backed by their core mandate to foster elite global cultural and artistic exchanges, the state bureau selected and commissioned Lee to present a major solo showcase. The resulting landmark exhibition, titled "Art.Life - Malaysian Contemporary Paintings Exhibition of Lee Kian Choong," was held at the prestigious Exhibition House, Taipa Houses-Museum from January 9 to March 15, 2015. Serving as a high-profile platform for cross-cultural collaboration, the two-month government-hosted event stood as a profound testament to Lee's mastery and his growing influence within the contemporary Southeast Asian art landscape.

On January 9, 2015, the Instituto Cultural do Governo da R.A.E. de Macau (Macao Government Cultural Affairs Bureau) hosted an official media launch and press conference to inaugurate Lee Kian Choong's invited solo exhibition. Regional journalists, cultural commentators, and fine art critics gathered at the museum to discuss the artist’s unique mid-life creative transition and his avant-garde synthesis of Western watermedia and contemporary Chinese ink.
Following the press conference, a formal opening ceremony was held to celebrate the cultural exchange event. Attended by prominent government dignitaries, institutional directors, and members of the international art circle, the ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official launch of a highly successful two-month public exhibition that ran from January 9 to March 15, 2015.

All the invited distinguished guests proceeded to the grand opening of Lee Kian Choong solo art exhibition at the Taipa Houses Museum, Macao 2015, for the opening ceremony. The distinguished guests present included Henry Ma Kam Keong (Administration Committee Member), Eric Choi Chi Hong (Head of Department of Cultural Activities and Recreation), Dang U Weng Hong (Head of Division of Cultural Activities of Department of Cultural Activities and Recreation), Joao Baptista Manuel Leao (Consultative Committee Chairman) and Jorge Alexandre Baptista of Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau, Apart from all the distinguished personnels of the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau of the Macao government, Paul Pun Chi Meng (Secretary General of Caritas, Macao), Antonio Jose Dias Azed (lawyer and Notary Office), Peter Siu Pei Tak (President of Macao Calligraphy & Seal Carving Association), Pan Jin Hsia (Elsa Poon - Secretary General of Macao Artist Association), Pan Jin Ling (Poon Kam Ling - Committee of the International Women Artists Council INWAC), director of Asia Fineart Galley Catherine, artist Lee Kian Choong, his dear wife Sharon Yee, his dear daughters Lee Jia Wen & Lee Jia Yi were all present at the opening ceremony of the invited solo art exhibition.
